    waste produced by e-waste.

Professional E-waste Management

As one of the first e-waste recycling companies in Nepal, Doko Recyclers explores innovative ways to make e-waste recycling not only accessible but accepted throughout the country. Currently, a majority of e-waste generated is dumped into landfills or burned openly.

We at Doko Recyclers want to establish and streamline e-waste recycling so that our e-waste is disposed in an environmentally-friendly and responsible manner. It is our goal for the future to instill a culture of reducing, reusing and recycling and make the streets and landfills of Nepal devoid of our discarded e-waste. Not only would this be a boon for the environment, it would also boost the local economy and allow access to a wealth of secondary raw materials our e-waste would produce.

What We Do

Our mission is to ensure that e-waste produced in Kathmandu Valley can be responsibly managed or recycled through an environmentally sound channel.

In 2018, we recycled over 163720 kg of waste, creating and promoting much required public awareness on the importance of e-waste recycling. While this is just a fraction of the e-waste produced inside the valley, we can take steps towards a shared goal of a sustainable future where all e-waste is recycled or refurbished.
Most e-waste can be recycled if handled properly. Salvaging secondary raw materials found in e-waste drastically reduce our carbon footprint when recycled and re-used in manufacturing new products instead of mining for ores, which leads to environmental risks and hazards.
We extract hazardous material from e-waste, which we quarantine and store in a safe environment. These materials are then sent for processing and reuse or proper disposal.
We plan to make e-waste recycling a self-sustaining venture as we refurbish products and resell them at affordable prices to increase access nationally to technology and information.
